Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear/bring to class?

Anything you feel comfortable to move in. The hall can be a little chilly in the winter so please take layers.

For ballet wear soft ballet shoes or socks. Tap shoes are best for tap but for your first week it's fine to wear any comfortable shoes such as brogues or trainers. No shoes required for stretch class.

If you have a yoga mat then bring it along to stretch class but we have spares so don't worry if not.

Taking a bottle of water is recommended.

Do I need prior experience?

No! All levels are welcome and many people have started with us as beginners or returned after many years away from dance. It is helfpul for the teacher to have an idea of your level before you come along though so please let us know when booking whether you have experience.

How do I book?

Please email andtheydanced.es@gmail.com for booking, dates and prices. Block booking is the best value for money but drop-in is also available for those with busy schedules. All payments are done online by either bank transfer or PayPal.

What age are classes for?

Classes are aimed at adults of all ages and we have a wide range of participants. We have had movers from teenagers-70+ and encourage people to work at their own level.

The current students are a friendly bunch and are always happy to have new people join.

Can all genders come to class?

Yes! All genders are welcome. The business is trans owned and classes are taught in a gender neutral way.
